Overview:

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. degree) is an undergraduate academic degree offered by universities and colleges worldwide. The study duration of a B.Sc. program is three to four years. In the UK, a three-year Bachelor’s is also referred to as Basic or Minors Bachelor’s, whereas the four-year Bachelor’s is referred to as an Honours Bachelor: e.g. Business Management (Hons).

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree is mainly awarded to students in the areas of Natural Sciences, Business & Management, Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, and Informatics. Universities like Cambridge and Oxford offer B.A. degrees for all their undergraduate studies, including research and scientific programs. In most cases, a B.Sc. degree is the first step you need to take before you begin your career in a technical field, such as Engineering or Computer Science.

Eligibility

The minimum qualification required to be eligible for admission is a pass in the 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognized Central or State Board. A course recognized as equivalent thereto by the University, desirably with the relevant or related subjects of study is also eligible.The method of selection for the programme shall normally be through merit, based on the performance in the qualifying exam.
